Find Bueller

Early last Friday, Tampa-area resident, Derek McComber, was walking taking his tiny French Bulldog for a walk when a gray Honda Civic pulled up alongside him. One man exited the car, asking McComber what kind of dog he was. When McComber told him, “He’s a French Bulldog,” the man pointed a handgun at him and snatched the dog.

The 25-pound French Bulldog, named Bueller, was last seen in the arms of the gunman, as the Honda Civic sped away.

The Tampa Bay Times reported that, as of today, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Department are still looking for the gunman and the driver of the Civic in hopes of finding Bueller.

Bueller weighs 25 pounds and was wearing a black and green collar with no tags. Bueller’s fur is mostly black, but his stomach and paws are white.

Derek McComber has now created a Facebook page, in hopes of finding his stolen dog and to warn others in the area that armed dognappers are at large. (https://www.facebook.com/HelpFindBueller?fref=ts)

Anyone with information on Bueller’s whereabouts is asked to called the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office at (813) 247-8200 or Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-873-8477.

Awesome! I would be freaked out and depressed to have my dog dognapped.
