Barking-Dog

In Rapid City, South Dakota, a West Highland Terrier named Taffy has been barking continuously for six straight years. Electrician David Richards bought Taffy for his daughter’s 8th birthday. She just turned 14, and the dog has been barking the entire time they’ve had her.

“She barked the first week,” said Richards, “and then that turned into a few months and she’s still barking.” Neighbors confirm the little white dog has a lot to say. This marks the longest time any dog has barked continuously in Rapid City history, passing the previously held record of 8 minutes.

OK< NO ONE should be subjected to a dog constantly barking. They could train the dog to hush if they would. If positive reinforcement doesn't work, they will have to use negative. Squirting in the face with cold water every time she barks should work. A shock collar if she still barks. They could have vocal cord surgery as a last resort. She would still be barking but few would ear her, except the family in the house. They do not have the right to be disturbing all their neighbors.

#1, It’s clearly a joke, since from the Onion. #2, If you really feel that way, please don’t ever own pets, because, animals make noise. I have two dogs, and they bark, a lot, as all dogs do. If my neighbors don’t like it, they can move.

I agree with you, I hope Vickie never ever owns an animal. Maybe someone should cut out her vocal cord and break her fingers then we wouldn’t have to read her nasty comments.

Vicki, you are the one that should have surgery on your vocal cords as well as in every hole in your body. You, pathetic excuse for a human, are not better than dogs. May karma get you good, you subhuman.
