Meet Duke, Cormorant, Minnesota’s newly elected Mayor! The 7-year old Great Pyrenees won by a landslide when the 12 residents of his town all cast their votes. After his election, Duke was treated to several hours of grooming and pampering and a new outfit.
His salary will be paid by a local pet store who’s donated a year’s supply of kibble as payment for his service.
Duke will be sworn in during a town festival on Saturday.
