A concerned dog lover spotted 2 dogs in a vehicle parked in downtown Phoenix, Arizona in the early afternoon.
Naturally, she feared for the dog’s safety, as temperatures in Phoenix soared. Although the windows were partially rolled down and the dog’s owner had provided a bowl of water, the good Samaritan grew panicked as she searched for their owner for more than an hour.
After calling police, who arrived at the scene and said the dogs seemed ok and left, the woman called 12News for help.
News crews arrived just in time to see the woman reach into an open window and unlock the door, pulling the two dogs out of the car, where temperatures could have been upwards of 140-degrees.
She found the owners phone number on the dogs’ ID tags and called him with a desperate plea to come get his dogs and never do it again.
Unfortunately, the dogs’ owner didn’t seem to understand the dangerous situation he’d placed his dogs in.

I DON’T GET HOW PEOPLE CAN BE SO CRUEL AND IGNORANT AT THE SAME TIME!! MAYBE THE OWNER AND POLICEMAN SHOULD SPEND TIME IN A HOT CAR!!!!( OK WE WILL CRACK THE WINDOWS AND LEAVE A BOWL OF WATER)….
ABSOLUTELY, THE OWNER SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO OWN A PET AND THE POLICE MAN NEEDS TO BE LEFT IN A HOT CAR ALONG WITH THE OWNER!! WAY TO GO RESCUE LADY!!

If the owner, as he says, was watching the “whole thing”, he’s an idiot and should not be allowed to own a dog…or any pet…with the windows down, the temperature still gets to levels high enough to kill those dogs; you could see they were in distress and could easily have died; being in Phoenix, if the cops just came, left, then they’re also a little in the “not too bright” category!
