“We’ve been in 4-wheelers, we’ve been in our vehicles, we’ve knocked on doors, we’ve stopped cars,” veteran Jeffery Cornnett said of the desperate search for his missing PTSD service dog, Bella.
After four tours with the army, Cornnett explained to Arkansas Matters that Bella saved his life.
“She’s my service animal, she’s my best friend, she’d my medicine, she’s my everything,” he said, “She helps me deal with people and crowds and making myself comfortable in situations where I’m not comfortable.”
But now, Bella is missing. And Cornnett is desperate to have her back.
She was last seen chasing after something in Cornnett’s Morrilton, Arkansas front yard on October 11.
It is unclear whether she ran too far and became lost or was stolen. In any case, Cornnett says, holding back tears, that he just needs his dog back.
