When Tom-Jan Hüsch’s girlfriend broke up with him, he took his revenge out on the innocent little dog she’d recently gotten him as a gift.
Further proving his complete and total lack of morals, compassion, and intelligence, Hüsch recorded the entire incident and posted the video to Facebook for all to see.
Although the original video has since been removed from Facebook, Liveleak obtained and posted a copy.
Warning: The video is difficult to watch and may be disturbing to some viewers.
The disturbing, violent video quickly went viral, catching the attention of German resident Josef Guldschmitt, who made it his mission to seek justice for the defenseless, innocent dog.
Guldschmitt tracked down the abuser, determined to inflict the same pain to him that he inflicted on the dog. And, he recorded the incident, posting the video to Facebook as a warning to would-be abusers that animal cruelty would not be tolerated in Germany.
“I really wanted him to die.” said Guldschmitt. “If I could have found my pliers, I would have twisted his scrotum off too.”
As of yet, no charges have been filed against Guldschmitt.

I haven’t seen the video but judging from the post it must have been horrendous. That he got beaten up is not even close to the pain and suffering he had caused to an innocent being! Well the dog abuser got what he deserved in my opinion. But I think it wrong that punishment has to be meted out by another individual rather than the state; if the law against animal abuse was as strong as it should be then he would have been dealt with in court and the man who felt so outraged as to punish him wouldn’t be in danger of arrest or assault.

I’m an avid supporter of animal rights and legislation to protect all sentient species. I’m also a lifelong vegan *because* I find the suffering sentient beings suffer due to humans’ choices irreconcilable with our general moral reasoning about the infliction and suffering of pain when these aren’t absolutely necessary for survival. But beating someone as an emotional response to something he did, as a punishment for his physically violent emotional response to … something someone else did … is illogical. And it’s frightening that reasonably intelligent citizens feel morally justified in advocating this.

There is never an excuse to justify violence against another living creature. If you condon the revenge beating you are saying sometimes abuse is justified. Accordingly, you are saying that your reasons are justified but the abusers reasons were not. This is wrong. No one should ever abuse anything. By doing so you become the abuser. In the end, you don’t really feel better and you didn’t stop the abuse.
