A man launching a new drone drone in his back yard got the attention of the family dog who, just mere seconds after lift-off, swatted the device out of the air.
In surveillance video posted to YouTube, the man is seen preparing to launch a quadcopter drone in his Fort McMurray, Alberta, backyard on Christmas Day. The drone gets only inches off the ground before the family dog runs into the yard, jumps after the device, and throws it back to the ground.
“He’s OK, not hurt. He’s lucky though. Those blades can cut really bad. He wasn’t injured,” the video’s description read. “No damage to the drone, it fell on soft snow.”
