An elementary school student’s diabetic alert service dog posed for his yearbook photos – and it can be argued his portrait will be the most adorable in the entire book!
Remember the excitement of school picture day – getting to wear your snazziest outfit, a new haircut, and looking your very best for the camera? The same was true for Rowdy, a diabetic alert service dog for Daegan, a student at M.J. Kaufman Elementary in Lake Charles, Louisiana who lives with Type 1 Diabetes and relies on Rowdy to monitor her blood sugar.
During the students’ picture day on October 3, photographer Jillian Engel snapped an adorable portrait of service dog Rowdy for the class yearbook.
The service dog even arrived for photo day wearing a bow tie!
I’m a school photographer and we got to take a service dog’s picture for the yearbook today 😭😭😭 pic.twitter.com/HtryGOvafI

No doubt this snappy-dressed doggo will be voted “Most Likely to Be a Good Boy!”
