Incredibly Costumed Dogs at NYC’s Tompkins Square Halloween Dog Parade

Hundreds of very good dogs (and their people) piled into Manhattan on Sunday to strut their stuff and show off their most creative dog costumes in the 29th Annual Tompkins Square Halloween Dog Parade!

Every year, New York City becomes the stage for the largest dog costume contest in the country. Donning some of the cutest and most creative dog costumes you’ve ever seen, hundreds of dogs show up to compete for thousands in prizes.

Check out some of the most creative, cutest, and incredible dog costumes from this year’s big event. You’ll recognize many of the classics, some pop-culture favorites and lots of humor – from a dog dressed as Rihanna in that famous feather dress on her very own red carpet, a pup posed as a pack of Ramen noodles, and even a costume that makes a bold statement about global warming.

Best in Show this year went to Lincoln, a Yorkshire Terrier dressed in an over-the-top elaborate costume as Snoopy and The Red Baron.
