There’s a lot of talk of war right now.
There’s ALWAYS a lot of talk of war.
In fact, throughout history, people are always going to war.
You have so many wars, you’ve run out of names and giving them numbers.
World War I
World War II
World War III
Then we have the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Iraq War I & II
We have the War in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and everywhere else there are people.
Did you catch that?
Every where there are people, there are wars.
But these are all people wars.
Note – there are no dog wars.
But you humans. You try and drag us into everything.
Marcus Antonius:
And Caesar’s spirit, raging for revenge,
With Ate by his side come hot from hell,
Shall in these confines with a monarch’s voice
Cry “Havoc!” and let slip the dogs of war,
That this foul deed shall smell above the earth
With carrion men, groaning for burial.Julius Caesar Act 3, scene 1, 270–275
You have the dogs of war and people wear war tags.
We serve valiantly in the military but if you ask us…
We’d just rather chase a frisbee than fight.
But no, you guys have to make a fight about EVERYTHING.
I gotta tell ya. Playing is a lot more fun.
Now here’s one story you just have to read.
It’s a life saving story in the news.
All right.
At ease.
