Al Roker Adopts a Rescue Puppy!

Al Roker, the passionate co-anchor of the Today Show, announced to fans on Twitter yesterday that he’d finally adopted a dog – but not quite the one he would have expected…

“This is the kind of dog I used to make fun of … not a real dog,” he Tweeted along with a photo collage of he and the cute little pup, “And swore we wouldn’t get one.”

Roker continued to share photos and tweets about the newest member of his family. “Say hello Pepper, our newest Roker,” he shared on Twitter. “She’s a rescue pup from Main Line Animal Rescue.”

Roker recently spoke out against Dog Shaming, explaining that he felt bad for the poor dogs.  He’s clearly a man after our own hearts!
