An Arkansas high school included a photo of a favorite four-legged faculty member in their annual yearbook.
Mya, a Belgian Malinois and a K9 school resource officer trained in narcotics detection and tracking and recovery, was recognized by Arkansas’ Bryant High School staff with her photo proudly printed among other faculty members in the school’s 2018-2019 yearbook.
“So it looks like one of Bryant PD’s finest School Resource Officer’s made the Hornet Yearbook this year,” a Bryant Police post to Facebook said. “Good job Mya, you are representing the PD with pride…..Hornet Pride!!!”
Mya started working at Bryant High School last fall, but it looks like she’ll have a long, rewarding career at the high school, surrounded by staff and students that love her and value the important work she performs.
