Dear Dogington Post Readers:

It is with great pleasure that I write you this letter. I would like to formally announce my position as the new “Ask the Trainer” columnist. I am very honored that The Dogington Post has asked me to take this position, as it provides me the opportunity to positively influence the lives of millions of dog owners.

My focus is to provide owners like you, with the solutions to questions and challenges that impact you and your dog every day. Unfortunately there is so much misinformation available, owners can’t make sense of it all. My hope is to help both you and your dog, with concise and “real-world” dog training information. That way you can live a better life with you four-legged family member.

Before I continue any further, let me take just a moment to formally introduce myself. My name is Steve Reid, I am a certified professional dog trainer, speaker, author, and former Director on the Board of a No-Kill Animal Shelter. My in-depth experience of working with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments, enables me to help difficult dogs that most trainers turn away.

My ambition of “Changing the World for Dogs” is based on using simple, safe, and effective methods of training. In doing so, I have helped families all over the world to live the stress-free and enjoyable life they have always wanted with their dog. My goal is to help YOU do the same.
