If you guessed Einstein, you’re correct!
In the 1985 hit movie, Back to the Future, the time traveling canine character, Einstein, was played by a dog named Tiger. By the time parts II and III were filmed, Tiger was too old to perform and was replaced by another shaggy pup named Freddie.
Fun Fact: Although his exact breed has been hotly debated by fans, some guess he’s a mixed-breed pup, a Berger Picard, a Briard with uncropped ears, or some type of Sheepdog.
Here’s a blast from the past! Check out the opening sequence from Back to the Future. Remember the elaborate automatic dog food feeder Doc Brown created to make sure Einstein always had his favorite canned food?
Now, can you guess who this famous movie dog is?
He’s the world’s only Oscar award-winning canine and the most famous Jack Russell terrier on the planet.

My favorite famous doggy was Toto. My 9 year old Yorkie Pomeranian named Puppy looks just like Toto.
