The last time we saw Coco, an Alaskan Malamute belonging to Wang Sicong, the son of the richest man in China, she was sporting a brand new, then-hard-t0-get Apple Watch on each wrist. I guess it’s no surprise, then, that she’d be one of the first in the world to own, not one, but eight of the newly released Apple iPhone 7.
That’s two iPhones for each paw.
Each 32-gigabyte version of the iPhone 7 costs 5,388 Chinese yuan, or roughly $800. That’s quite a pretty penny (about $6,400) to put down on a stack of high-tech toys for an animal without opposable thumbs.
While we can all appreciate wanting only the very best for your very best four-legged friends, we can also agree they’d always prefer good old fashioned playtime and love over fancy digital gadgets.
