You’ll want to hold onto your belongings when Keon the Irish Wolfhound starts wagging his tail!
That’s because the gentle giant’s tail measures a whopping 30.2 inches (76.8 cm) long from tail bone to tip, not including hair, according to the Guinness World Records.
A professional veterinarian measured Keon’s tail to determine that he’d beaten out the previous record holder for “Longest Tail On a Dog” by 1.7 inches, earning him a feature in the Guinness World Records 2017 Edition.
Some other notable dogs breaking records for 2017 include The World’s Tallest Dog, a Great Dane named Zeus and Purin the Beagle for Most Paws Caught by a Dog with the Paws.
