With temperatures peaking in the triple digits, a clever Texas dog found the perfect solution to beating the summer heat while still enjoying his favorite pastime… by dragging his sprinkler inside through the doggy door!

Sprinkler

When Texas resident Cara Wohr’s dog, Baloo, is outside in the summer, his favorite way to keep cool is by pawing and splashing around the family’s oscillating sprinkler.

But, with temperatures soaring to over 100-degrees, even the sprinkler provides little relief – especially when you’re wearing a fur coat!

So, clever pup Baloo had a brilliant idea… just bring the sprinkler inside through the doggy door to play in the air conditioned living room!

Lucky for us, Wohr had her camera within reach when the smart, fun-loving dog took matters into his own paws! (Lucky for her, she was wearing waterproof mascara!)

What’s your dog’s favorite way to keep cool in the summer heat?
