Drugsniffer

A German dog owner and entrepreneur has found a way to keep his police academy-trained drug detection dog working, while also helping parents that suspect their children may be using.

Reitner Reuther started DrogenHunde (translation: Drug Dog) as a discreet way for parents to confirm suspicions of childrens’ drug use. His services are ideal for parents and families that wish to discover a problem and and deal with it, without the legal ramifications of a police investigation.

For $125 per drug-sniffing mission, Reuther will bring his dog, Thor to the family home, where he will detect the presence of even the most well-disguised stashes. He was trained to perform scent-detection in Texas before Reuther moved back to Germany and started his business. Thor is capable of detecting the presence of even traces of marijuana, heroin, speed, and ecstasy.

If Thor detects the presence of drugs, Reuther notifies the parents, but leaves the following course of action up to his clients. While he promises his clients 100% discretion, he does recommend drug counseling and therapy for children that are using.
