The Havanese, also known as the Havana Silk Dog, is a trendy breed of lapdog that originated in Cuba. It belongs to the Toy breed family which is notable for their tiny size and endearing expression. Members of the Havanese breed tend to live long. They are generally healthy and have an average lifespan of 12 to 14 years.
