When fire quickly spread through a San Diego home, the homeowner managed to escape in time, but was unable to find his beloved dog, still trapped inside.
That’s when a neighbor heard the cries for help and rushed in to help, risking his own life to save his neighbor’s dog.
“And I saw him cowering under the flames and I thought, I’ve got to save him. I was worried he was going to burn so I ran into the flames, grabbed him and ran,” the heroic neighbor explained to ABC7.
The house was a total loss after the fire, but, thanks to one quick-acting, brave neighbor, everyone – including the family dog – made it out alive and without serious injury.
