Like most of us, actor Kevin Spacey was deeply affected by the tragic bombing at the Boston Marathon on April 15. The “House of Cards” star hopped on a plane to Boston immediately after hearing news of the bombing, visiting with bomb victims, police, and other first responders.
“If people know me from movies, and walking into their work space or room brings a smile to their face — with the challenges these amazing citizens have in front of them — then that’s worth coming,” Spacey told The Boston Herald.
But his devotion to the city of Boston didn’t end there. Spacey made a stop at the North Shore Animal League, the world’s largest no-kill animal rescue and adoption organization, and adopted a little girl.
Spacey Tweeted to followers, “New member of my family. Her name is Boston in honor of the city.”
Boston will join the Spacey family, which also includes a 15-year old Terrier mix named Mini.
Best wishes to Kevin Spacey, Mini, and Little Boston on a long, healthy, and happy life together!

One of my favorite actors,, how sweet of him and her name is Boston. We adopted one of our cats from there. She has since passed away. All our animals are adopted or rescued. God Bless him.
