Lost Dog Finally Found After Three Years, 830 Miles Away

When a Border Collie mix was found wandering in the base of a canyon in Kearns, Utah, rescuers never imagined that the dog’s owners lived over 800 miles away – or that their beloved family dog had been missing for three years!

The Riccitti family adopted the sweet pup, named Sara, when she was only 6 months old. A true member of the family, the Riccitti’s took Sara along on all their adventures, played tug-o-war with her, and even brought her along on family vacations.

But their beloved dog went missing three years ago while the family (including Sara, of course) visited some friends in Aumsville, Oregon. KLTV News reported:

“We put up fliers and contacted Humane Societies and vet clinics but never found her after that,” Kristin Riccitti said.

The Riccitti’s had all but given up hope of ever seeing their best buddy again. That is, until a phone call this month from an animal hospital in Kearns, Utah that found the pup wandering at the base of a local canyon. Luckily, Sara was microchipped, so hospital employees were able to easily track down her family.

When they were finally reunited, Sara clearly remembered her family, excitedly jumping right back into her tug-o-war routine.

“She looks very healthy and well-loved and taken care of and I couldn’t ask for more than that,” Kristin Riccitti said.

The relation between two countries is not cordial but that air
of antagonism has never stopped or forced any business from withdrawing any of
their business initiatives. It also has LED
flash that illuminates when the need arises. Its weight is 122 grams
    and casing measures 111 x 51 x 13.

It’s actually very difficult in this full of activity life to listen news on
Television, so I only use the web for that
reason, and obtain the latest information.

When are people going to check lost dogs for micro-chipping? We had to beg our neighbors several times to go to a vet to find out if a sweet cat they found was microchipped. Ended up she was. She could have been home for three weeks before that instead of living under some strangers car.
