Meet Fun People At a Dog Show

We all have at one time or another asked ourselves how our dog would fare in a showing against other dogs of the same breed. I know I certainly have, but I do not think I have the patience required to train my dog for this. Besides, he is at the age now where all he wants to do is sleep, eat, and do his business in the neighbor’s yard!

For many people this activity is a hobby, and they pursue it as such. If their dog places or wins this is just icing on the cake. Then we have those who do this as a business. These people have invested in very expensive purebred dogs with a lineage of champions, and expect to win for breeding purposes and the money they will receive for the puppies.

As a dog owner you should visit a dog show, and who knows, maybe the bug will bite you. Then old Max might turn out to be the next Grand National Champion!
