Less than a week after the tragic death of her Alaskan Klee Kai, Floyd, Miley Cyrus has welcomed a new fuzzy four-legged addition to the pack: Moonie.

Floyd was reportedly killed last week in a tragic coyote attack while the singer was away on tour. In the midst of friends and family trying to comfort Miley, she Tweeted, “what you don’t understand is he’s not in a better place, the best place he could be was with me… where he was loved more than anything.”

The pop singer’s anguish over the loss of what she called “her favorite” was palpable to anyone that follows Miley on Twitter. So, the heartbroken star’s mother, Tish, surprised her with a new little love to help ease the pain.

But, Miley is torn. “Just don’t know if it’s to soon.  I still have so much love to give my Floydy,” she Tweeted on Sunday.

We all deal with the loss of a pet differently. While some wait months, even years, to love a dog again, others find comfort in immediately filling the void.

Though Miley is still incredibly heartbroken and lost without Floyd, she’s taking it one day at a time and soaking up all the love that little Moonie has to offer.

I am truly sorry for her loss. However, if she truly loved companion animals maybe she should show that by not wearing such a huge amount of cruel fur. I hope she knows some of that fur Is dog and cat. I hope that in her time of grief she may educate herself on the amount of torture and grief animals go through to be worn on her back!!!

the heart will heal with time and I am sure Flyod would want her to share all her love with another that needs it. Doing rescue and having them come and go as well as having my elders cross over is not easy but I know what my own expected of me and that is to always share my love for other ones and take care them.
Loss reslly sucks especially when it is not expected but time will heal wounds to where you will remember the good, besides they are still watching over you until it is time to rejoin on the Great Plains where Father Sky is taking care of her baby
