Andrew “Andy” Murray, the Olympic gold and silver medalist is more than just an amazing tennis player – he’s also an avid dog lover! The Scottish tennis star brought home two medals in the 2012 Olympic Games. Then, like any respectable dog parent, he shared the glory with his dogs.

The pair of pampered pups, border terriers, Maggie May and Rusty, are certainly deserving of gold medals of their very own. Maggie May even has a Twitter page where she shares photos of herself and Rusty helping Andy train for competition, showing off their high jump skills, and practicing their synchronized napping.

This photo, snapped by Andy Murray after fitting his pups with the gold and silver medals, was posted to Maggie May’s Twitter page with the caption, “Here we go folks… Just checking to make sure Rusty definitely has the silver, obviously.” It would seem from her posts that Maggie is a little spitfire, certainly wearing the pants in this dog family!

In another of Maggie May’s photos, here is the Olympian, Andy Murray himself, teaching his beloved dog the number one rule of the game, to never take your eyes off the ball.

Be sure to visit Maggie May’s Twitter feed by clicking here. And, while you’re there, don’t forget to congratulate her tennis champion dad, Andy Murray!
