Oops! Tennis pro Serena Williams learned the hard way… even if your dog’s food looks good enough to eat, trying it for yourself isn’t always the best idea!

During a hotel stay in Rome, Italy for the Italian Open, Williams, having forgotten to pack her dog Chip’s food was pleasantly surprised by the gourmet offerings on the hotel’s “doggy menu.”

With menu items including salmon, chicken, pasta, rice, and veggies, Williams was excited to order for her Yorkshire terrier. And when room service delivered the tasty dish, salmon and rice, it looked good enough to eat – so she did!

Things quickly went downhill. And, the tennis pro chronicled the entire debacle for all her fans via Snapchat.

Williams’ final words were, “I don’t think it’s consumable for humans, and they should’ve wrote that.
