Ark Naturals voluntarily recalls three of their “Brushless Toothpaste Value Pack” products after learning that one of their suppliers omitted a mold-inhibiting ingredient used to formulate said items.
After investigating, Ark Naturals presumed that these products may develop mold even before they reach the end of their shelf life.
Although there have been no confirmed reports of illness due to the products, the company concluded that a voluntary recall would be the best preventive measure.
Ark Naturals revealed in a statement that this is the first product recall they’ve issued after being a brand that has been serving pets for over 10 years.
The company said, “We stand by our high-quality natural ingredients and are committed to offering only the highest quality treats for our pets.”
Ark Naturals asks that you dispose any bags from the following products and lot codes immediately, if you have them:
