Robert Pattinson: I Thought I Was Adopting a ‘Big Man’s Dog’

While filming the blockbuster hit movie Breaking Dawn in Louisiana last February, mega-star Robert Pattinson visited a kill-shelter in Monroe and found himself a new best friend in an adorable 5-week old puppy. In a real-life rag-to-riches story, the puppy went from death row to riding private jets and staying at the Four Seasons.

But over the last 9 months, heartthrob Pattinson expected his puppy to keep growing. “He was supposed to be a big man’s dog,” the actor who plays Edward Cullen in the Twilight series told Ellen DeGeneres. “But he just kind of got stunted.”

In his comical yet endearing interview for The Ellen Show, Pattinson jokes about his dog’s shortcomings, his stunted growth and his humorously gigantic tongue which hangs “like a curtain.” But it’s clear he loves his four-legged pal dearly.
