Last Saturday, thousands of spectators and over 50 competing dogs of nearly every shape and size hit the beach for the 7th Annual Loews Dog Surfing Competition at Imperial Beach, California.

When more than a dozen dogs and one human piled onto a single surfboard and rode the waves, they broke the Guinness World Record for the most dogs on a board at one time with a human.

As the exciting day went on, over 50 awesome dogs took to their boards, having fun and raising money for the ASPCA. Surfing dogs were judged on confidence, length of ride, and overall ability.

Bovet offers an optional necklace or pocket watch chain for its Amadeo-cased
watches. It is a fun trick to remove the straps and lower the caseback “foot” to
show people how the watch can be used like a little clock.
Though I suspect that these features are rarely used in any practical sense.
I have to admit that the ability for the case to transform is interesting and adds value to the watch.

Having said that, I think that most owners are going to spend 95% of their time or
more wearing the Amadeo Fleurier watch on their wrist.
