TikTok might just be the gift the keeps on giving! Because a new TikTok trend is now taking the online world by storm, and of course our four-legged friends are taking on it, in a “very demure” way, might we add.

The phrase “very demure, very mindful” has gone viral on TikTok this August. It becomes popular after user Jools Lebron started using it to describe a level of appropriateness in various social settings – from doing your make up for work to exiting the plane when it lands.

The phrase, has quite literally, taken over social media. And it’s not just the social media users using this phrase! Even celebrities such as Hayley Williams, Penn Badgley, and RuPaul have embraced the trend.

Do you see the way we explained the trend before sharing videos of how dogs have embraced it? Very demure.

See how we even provided a few examples so you could understand and appreciate the trend better? Very mindful.

Out with the old, in with the new! Move over “good” boys and girls, here are some of the “very demure” and “very mindful” pooches on TikTok:

Do you see the way this good boy sits at the table for breakfast? Very demure. He isn’t like other dogs. Very polite! He doesn’t assume he can just do whatever around the house. Very mindful.

Here’s another one! Truly the pinnacle of demure and mindful pups when it comes to giving out his paw. You could even say that he’s very “demurtsy (cutesy + demure)”.

Even stealing things from a baby can be demure if you’re Kobe the dog. Do you see how he steals from the baby? Very gentle, very demure, very mindful. He doesn’t yank things so fast out of the baby’s arms that she falls down.

And when swimming? Of course somepuppy demure’s gotta do it! Like Indy here. She’s very demure and very cutesy! Her swimsuit has no wrinkles, and her paws? Delicately paddling. She’s not like other dogs splashing in the water just to swim.

Oh, and Pearl? She’s not like you other dogs at the groomers. She’s very demure when she’s on the grooming table. She doesn’t move around during the session because she’s very mindful of why she’s at the salon.

As the trend continue to grow in popularity, many more dog owners and TikTok users are sharing how demure and mindful their dogs are.

Do you think your dog can embrace this newest TikTok trend? Are they a “very demure” and “very mindful” dog?
