Meet Cathy and Ali.
This gorgeous pair worked as guide dogs at a mountain patrol unit in Taiwan, where they safely led hikers up and down the treacherous peaks. However, when the patrol unit where they worked was closed due to budgeting concerns, Cathy and Ali were abandoned by their human peers, left alone in the mountains to fend for themselves.
They were so well-trained, however, that they continued doing their jobs… leading hikers up and down the mountains every day on their own, despite being starved and in desperate need of medical care.
This is the story of how they went from abandonment in Taiwan to rescue in New York, where they are now healthy, happy, and looking for a forever home together!
