A courageous little dog survived an entire week stranded, alone and confused, by huddling on a floating sofa as floodwaters rose inside her North Carolina home following Hurricane Florence.
Last month, in the wake of Hurricane Florence, Humane Society of Missouri’s Disaster Response Team spent a week in North Carolina performing animal rescue operations on the ground and in the water.
Watch the incredible rescue of Soshe, a brave little Maltese that survived a week alone and scared, by climbing atop her family’s sofa as it floated in rising floodwaters.
A huge THANK YOU to the brave, dedicated men and women of the HSMO Disaster Response Team that knew Soshe was out there and didn’t give up on her.
