Whoever said that dogs and cats can’t get along never met Kago the dog and Kumbali the cheetah!
When 4-month old Kumbali became separated from his mother, he was adopted by Virginia’s Metro Richmond Zoo where he was introduced to Kago, a yellow Lab-mix.
Since meeting, and becoming fast friends, the pair have been inseparable, running, playing, and even mimicking each other’s behavior.
For now, the pair are perfectly paired as playmates, but as Kumbali grows larger, stronger, and faster, zoo officials will determine if the unlikely best friends can remain together.
