Brutus, a Pit Bull, was found homeless on the streets of Los Angeles. Some kind mechanics did their best to provide him with food, but living on the streets without shelter is no life for any dog. That’s when Hope For Paws was called and asked for help.

The joy of this video is just how HAPPY Brutus was to be rescued. Quickly accepting Eldad Hagar and Lisa Arturo’s’ food, then pets, followed by jumping into Lisa’’s lap in the car and encored with his thankful kisses to both of them.

In this day in age, there is a lot of debate about BSL (Breed Specific Legislation) and Brutus reminds us that no dog should be defined simply by their breed. They are so much more than that. Each with an individual soul. Implementing BSL laws would deprive so many fantastic dogs like Brutus the chance to shine and share their love with the world. And that simply is heartbreaking.
