A woman from Florida was able to capture a ‘heart-stopping’ encounter between her dog and a black bear trying to enter their home in a now-viral TikTok video.

“Florida wildlife at its finest!” is what Krista Greener had to say when she and her dog encountered a bear curiously trying to get inside their Naples home.

Krista Greener shared the video of her dog seemingly having a standoff with a curious black bear on her TikTok account on October 28.

Greener reveals that she was just about to leave the house to pick up her kids when the black bear showed up.

“POV: you were just about to go pick up the kids when you see this at the front door!” the closed caption on the video read.

In the video, the black bear is seen trying to inspect the front door while Greener’s dog stood its ground, scaring the bear away by barking at it.

However, curious as one can be, the black bear tried to look for another way inside the house, inspecting another door from the kitchen.

Greener’s dog can be seen standing its ground, in another effort to intimidate the bear.

The video, which has now over 600,000 views and 21,000 likes, has the Internet stunned.

People were quick to run in the comment section of Greener’s video to express their reaction on the wild encounter.

One TikTok user wrote, “I could NEVER live in an area where bears roamed freely, thank goodness I live in a wee Scottish town.”

While another said, “I nearly had a heart attack when I saw a ferret walking passed my home a few years ago !!! Think if id seen a bear that would be it.”

“All i was thinking is ‘is your door locked cause bears know how to get into a car!’” another TikTok user wrote.
