I have a Lhasa Apso that was gaining weight so I put her on Beneful Healthy Weight. Within months, she was a very sick dog, blood in her very loose stools, not able to hold her urine due to bladder infections and she would only lay around; she stopped eating. We took her in and they told us her liver counts were also very high, which meant she could have a liver disease. I couldn’t stop crying, how could my healthy, playful princess girl gotten so bad so fast. While waiting for a ultrasound to be scheduled and a possible biopsy, a friend told me to read about Beneful on the Web. It made me sick, she had almost every sympton that awful dog food was causing. Talking to my friend, she informed they are 99% sure Beneful killed her mother’s dog. After months of antibiotics and liver meds, I am happy to say my girl is doing better, still not herself, but hopefully on her way back. Beneful should be taken off the market NOW…it is too dangerous for our sweet friends.
My dog has a red eye I put a warm compress on his eye I’m at my wits end I luv him so much cud it be what he’s eating also I realize bischons have allergies Help I’m desperate http://[email protected] or just text on my messages in iphone
I would love to be put on the mailing list.. Its so sad that companies are still buying from china and then selling it to the public to give to their pets.. I buy a lot of pet treats and dog food online and I am always unsure of exactly where the treats and food is actually coming from.. I have learned that on the upc code , if the first three numbers are between 690 and 695 it is from china.. but that doesn’t mean that the product used in the food isn’t from china ,, so its really hard to know the truth if the supplier is not trust worthy.. Its sad that greed means more to these people than our pets..
Thanks Beneful, for causing seizures and killing my dog I had for 10 years! She was a part of my family, and thanks to your toxic dog food, my dog is dead!! I’m livid!!
Currently, I don’t own a dog. But I’ve had one most of my life. I look forward to your newsletters and information. This will be passed on to so many of my friends who also have dogs. I’ll be at my local shelter/pound for a new ‘best friend’ before summer ends. Thank you for all you do.
I am the President and Head Chef of Best Buddy Biscuits – we are an all-natural pet treat and jerky company. We sell on line, but our primary customers are at Farmer’s Markets. We do several in the New Haven County area (CT) and I love to be able to give my customers information that will help keep their pets healthy. Your articles are thought provoking, filled with many facts that even extremely cautious dog owners may not be aware of. Looking forward to receiving your bulletin regularly!
Can’t wait to try your products. We have a 1yr old puppy & want to find the best for her… Not just what’s good for her, but what she will enjoy eating. We want her around for many, many years.
Any “trainer” that dismisses a training tool out of hand is really not a serious dog trainer no matter how many letters they have after their name.
Anyone who said is they train “fur babies” does a disservice to the noble being known as the dog.
Lack of knowledge of how to train a dog and the hands-on experience that is needed to develop that knowledge does more harm than any piece of equipment has ever done.
Hi there
My Northern Inuit suffers from a recurring ear infection which he has had several antibiotics for. Someone on here suggested Dynovite. Can anyone tell me where to buy this please?
My 14 month chi/terrier love’s beniful she ate some at my best Friend’s and she’s been eating since I thought it was good for her .Well now I’m not sure .I’ll check out making her food myself. Thanks for the head’s up.
Always do a search online for dog food reviews. I use google and love dogfoodadvisor .com (I separated the link addy) They rate dog foods and assign stars…one star, which Beneful has, up to five stars for the better foods. They rate can, or wet foods, dry, raw, and freeze dried. Whole Dog Journal is also an excellent source for rating dog food.
I’ve already forwarded your site to 2 of my 6 sisters…I love dogs as much as I love cows, horses, pigs, bugs, creepy crawly things….and plants. Looking forward to looking into the eyes of the pictures, as well as hearing words of wisdom from all participating. Thank you for this site.
I am a professional petsitter. Was introduced to your Dogington Post, would love to share info, pics and videos with my clients. Please include me on your mailing list !
Many Thanks,
Christa
Love your website. I’m always looking for advice for caring for my three little babies. Any advice for my Boston. She is constantly scratching and pink. I’m giving her omega oil and benadryl per the vet, but she is still so uncomfortable.
I’ve been exploring for a little for any high-quality articles
or blog posts on this kind of space . Exploring in Yahoo I finally
stumbled upon this website. Studying this info So i am satisfied to express that I have a very good uncanny feeling I discovered just
what I needed. I such a lot for sure will make sure
to do not overlook this website and give it a look on a constant
basis.
Protect our doggie children. They are like infants unable to fully convey what’s happening their world. I miss you Phoebe. Don’t worry, we do love Bella but she can never take your place.
To most of us our pets are our family, and our love for them will hold no bounds. We all need to be informed as to what is happening to our pets and why they are getting sick. Every devoted pet owner needs to know about the horrible lies and the wicked truth. It’s time to realize we are all being lied to and brainwashed and it’s time to fight back, fight back for your beloved pets as they cannot fight back themselves, speak for them, for they cannot speak for themselves. It is up to us, the pet owner to take action
